CONTRACT FOR MARKETPLACE BOOTH

 SOUTHEASTERN SHRINE CONVENTION

 AUGUST 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12, 2007

Market Place Layout

DATE, TIME AND PLACE:

The Marketplace. in conjunction with the meeting of the Southeastern Shrine Association of 2007, Inc., will be held in the Chattanooga Hamilton County Convention and Trade Center. Booths reserved through this contract will be made available for Exhibitor occupancy and installation at 1:00 p.m. on August 8th until 5:00 pm.  Hours for public display and sales will be from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Thursday and Friday and on Saturday until 12:00 noon.  Move out shall be Saturday until 5:00 pm, until all equipment, supplies and merchandise shall be clear of the Building by 7:00 p.m.

 

BUSINESS AREA:

The Exhibitor agrees to conduct his/her business only during the hours specified above and to restrict his/her activity to the booth(s) which are rented.

 

BOOTH DESCRIPTION:

Please refer to the attached floor plan. Each booth shall be a 10' x 10' standard draped booth with 8' high back drapes and 3' side dividers.  Each exhibit booth will contain as a package, the following: one 6' skirted table, two chairs, 1 wastebasket and one 7" x 44" exhibiting firm name identification sign.

 

FEES, TERMS OF PAYMENT AND RESERVATION OF BOOTHS:

Rental fees are as follows:

1. End booths are $350.00 each

2. Single booth $300.00 each

3. Double booths with one end $650.00

4. Double booths with no end $550.00

5. Triple booths with one end $900.00

6. Triple booths with no end $800.00

 

The date of receipt of this contract with attached fee shall govern priority of space assigned on a first-received basis.  Make checks payable to SESA Convention 2007, Inc. and mail to the address at bottom of this contract. Every effort will be made. to comply with the exhibitors highest priority preference.

 

SUBLETTING SPACE:

No Exhibitor may assign, sublet or apportion the whole or any part of allocated space, not exhibit therein any goods other than those manufactured or handled by the Exhibitor in the regular course of his/her business, nor permit any representative of an individual or any other firm to solicit business, take orders or sublet it1 his place.

 

LIABILITIES:

The Exhibitor understands and expressly agrees that the Southeastern Shrine Association Convention 2007, Inc, the Chattanooga Hamilton County Convention Centert, their officers, directors, members and employees will not be responsible for any loss or damage to goods or property of Exhibitors or Exhibitors' employees.  Exhibitor upon signing this contract releases-the above mentioned and agrees to indemnify them against all claims.  The Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and save the Southeastern Shrine Association Convention 2007, Inc, and the Chattanooga Hamilton County Convention and Trade Center, its employees and agents harmless against all claims, losses and damages to persons or property, government charges offenses and attorney fees arising out of or caused by Exhibitors installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the standard exhibition premises or a part thereof.

In addition, Exhibitor acknowledges that the Southeastern Shrine Association Convention 2007, Inc., the Chattanooga Hamilton County Convention and Trade Center, their officers, directors, members, agents and employees do not maintain insurance covering Exhibitors property and that it is the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor to obtain business interruption, property damage and theft insurance covering such expenses of the Exhibitor.

 

MAXIMUM EXHIBIT SIZE:

All exhibits Will conform to the assigned booth space and shall not restrict visual or physical access to adjacent  exhibitors.

 

RELOCATION OF EXHlBITS:

The Southeastern Shrine Association Convention 2007, Inc., reserves the right to alter locations of exhibits or of displays as shown on the official floor plan.

 

SHIPPING, ERECTING AND DISMANTLING EXHlBITS:

Chattanooga Hamilton County Convention and Trade Center will be the exposition service contractor for the exhibits.  Exhibiting firms will receive approximately six (6) weeks prior to the convention an information kit from Alhambra Shrine with details regarding additional booth furnishings, electrical service, shipments of trade show materials and other appropriate information .  For additional information please contact: Alhambra Shrine 423-892-0223.

 

SERVING OF FOOD AND DRINK:

The serving of any alcoholic beverage or food is expressly forbidden in the exhibit area.

 

THE STATE OF TENNESSEE AND HAMILTON COUNTY SALES TAX:

County, State or Federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the. exhibitor.

 

SECURITY:

Security personnel will be on duty during the time that you, your employees and your merchandise are in the Chattanooga Hamilton County Convention and Trade Center.  The doors to the building will be secured and locked at the end of the day.

 

AMENDMENTS:

The contractual provisions not relating to fees, terms of payment and reservation of booths are subject to reasonable modification by the Southeastern shrine Association Convention 2007, Inc. And all such modifications shall be binding upon Exhibitors upon receipt of the modification in writing. Each Exhibitor for himself and his employees agrees to abide by this agreement and by any amendments or additions thereto that may thereafter by established or placed in effect by the SESA 2006 Convention, Inc.

 

CONTRACT AGREEMENT:
